Desert Dolphin
Requirements:
Desert Dolphin has a unique vision for their stock agency. Their collection of images from 70 plus photographers
imparts this vision through a striking array of imagery. Desert Dolphin felt that it was time to give their
web site a face lift and add some new functionality.
Solution:
Using the powerful I-FlashPhoto engine as the foundation, we developed numerous custom details into their
new photography e-commerce web site. The new site features a photographer gallery to highlight individual
works and direct clients to the complete collection. The images in the gallery are also tied to the lightbox
system, pricing calculator, and shopping cart increasing ease of use and intuitive navigating. We also
developed a "color picker" which allows designers to easily search for imagery in a specific
color range for their projects. Behind the scenes, the Administration area has a custom commission reports
function which enables Desert Dolphin to pull commission reports on photographers for any given time period
as well as print the reports directly from the browser to include with payment. All this and much more
was integrated into a powerful yet simple to use web site that projects the unique and forward thinking
vision of Desert Dolphin.
